Basic Info
Name:NAO » is a [heroine] of the [world]
Birthdate:07-07
Bio
THIS IS NAOMI.
She fixes things.

To say she can repair nearly anything is a mild understatement. Old television sets, torn clothing, kitchen appliances, furniture, broken bones, and broken hearts all fall under her expertise. After all, in her former world, taping two halves of a heart back together was far easier than figuring out what was making a dishwasher leak.

For in her world, emotional conflict or harm manifested itself in a physical form. If lovers parted, their hearts would really break. If someone's arm was too skinny or their thighs were too fat, they'd simply... break. Naomi would get a call, and with her kit of screws, wrenches, and thread, she'd go out and fix them again.

Naomi existed. She was not born; she did not have a childhood. She simply woke up and knew her phone number, where she lived, and what she was supposed to do. She was meant to fix people, and for a time it was all it took to make her happy. Living by clockwork routine and for a simple purpose that she fulfilled on a daily basis wasn't that bad of an existence after all.

That was until she started to remember something. The memory was of a fair haired girl, one who she felt was her daughter. A mother always knows their child, just like a child always knows their mother's voice. But what had happened to the poor girl? Was she dead? Was she lost?

And what kind of memories would work their way to the surface?

If she had a daughter, that meant she had a past. Parents, friends, pets...

The more she thought about it, the more difficult it was to bring people back from their emotions. After a while, it stopped working all together. The 'corpses' grew in number, and very soon the population of her world was the size of a large apartment complex and growing smaller every day.

That was when the call for an interview came, made by a voice Naomi had never heard before. It made sense though; she wasn't shocked. Perhaps she wasn't meant to remember her daughter and therefore a bug in the system. It had caused disruption in her work, and she had hurt the world.

So she was interviewed and sent to a waiting room while her words were processed. It took a very, very long time, so Naomi fell asleep where she was sitting.

She woke up in a bed on the third floor of Lebendig Friedhof. She was not driven there, or even teleported... she just came to be. This time, however, her sense of purpose had vanished.

The Bar's owner, Ray, gave her a job. It was the only thing she knew how to do well, and that was repair things.

And so her existence repeated.

She still waits to remember.

PERSONALITY

Naomi is quick to anger, but never quick to offend. Being in a world were hurt feelings presented itself in such a way, she has learned to temper her tongue, reserving her worst of moods for people who have insulted someone else or the environment around them. Naomi believes in the respect and equality of all things, and lives by the golden rule. She does mock people from time to time, but it is only good natured teasing. She is very protective and motherly as well. Anyone who is sad or irritated, she'll help as soon as she can. After all, it is another way of fixing someone - making people feel better.

RELATIONSHIPS

Ray » her boss, also one Naomi hopes will become her friend.
Roxas » head chef, who Naomi can't decide whether she likes him much or not; she does think Ray picks on him a little too much, though.
Arya » fellow employee of Lebendig Friedhof, who Naomi finds to be quite the good hearted person; she also respects her for her magical ability and courage.
